Double or Nothing Two-Step is an Austin company that runs line dance team building and corporate entertainment for groups of any size, from a team of 10 to a full festival crowd. No partner or experience is needed. We come to your office, rooftop, or event space, or host you at venues from downtown Austin to the Hill Country.

Most groups do 30, 45, or 60 minutes of teaching, sized to your agenda. We bring the sound system and the music, and provide a certificate of insurance for any venue that requires it.

Planner questions
What if our group has never line danced before?
That is the whole point. Line dance needs no partner and no experience. We start from zero and the whole room is moving together in about ten minutes. The CEO and the brand new hire learn the same steps at the same time.
Do you work with tech companies and startups?
All the time. Austin is a tech town and tech teams are some of our most frequent corporate groups. We have taught teams from some of the biggest companies in the world. Line dance works for any group because everyone starts at zero together, from the newest hire to the CEO.
Can you do a Texas or western themed corporate event?
Yes. Country line dance is the centerpiece of a Texas or western themed corporate event, and it is the real thing, not a costume. We bring Austin honky-tonk dancing to western themed parties, rodeo nights, and country socials, with as many instructors and dancers as your group needs.
Do you do company holiday party entertainment?
Yes. Line dance is easy, high-energy holiday party entertainment that gets a whole company off their chairs. We run company holiday parties, end-of-year celebrations, and seasonal events across Austin, indoors or outdoors, for groups of any size.
How big a group can you handle?
Any size. We teach a team of 10 or a full festival crowd, and we bring more instructors as the group grows so everyone can see and follow along.
Do you come to us, or do we need a venue?
Either way works, and if you still need a venue, just ask. We come to your office, rooftop, hotel ballroom, or event space, or we host you at one of the many venues we work with, from downtown Austin to the Hill Country. We are happy to point you to a room that fits your group and budget.
Do you travel for retreats and offsites?
Yes. We come to Hill Country ranches, resorts, and event spaces across Central Texas for corporate retreats and offsites. Downtown Austin, the Hill Country, or anywhere your group is gathering, we will bring the lesson to you.
What do you need from the space?
All we need is an outlet and a dance floor. We bring the sound system and the music.
Is there a bar? Can guests get drinks?
At our partner honky-tonks, the venue's full bar is open and guests buy their own drinks. We do not run an open or hosted bar. For events we bring to your office or venue, drinks are up to you.
How long is the lesson?
We book events for a one-hour minimum and shape the lesson around your timeline. Some groups want a full hour of instruction. Others want a 30-minute lesson and then everyone hits the dance floor. Either way, you have the hour, so use it however works for your group. Want us longer? We add time in 30-minute increments. All we need is an outlet and a dance floor.
How far ahead do we need to book?
Sooner is better if you want a specific date, but we have several instructors on the roster, so we can almost always make it happen, even on short notice.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes. We provide a certificate of insurance for any venue or company that requires it. Just let us know when you reach out.
